The Via Francigena runs through Tuscany like a backbone, offering us multiple facets of this land, cradle of the Renaissance, rich in history, art and nature.
The route we have chosen for this bike tour is one of the most beautiful and evocative stretches we can find in Tuscany. San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Siena, are just some of the places we will visit while, the countryside with its hills drawn by the rows of vines and coloured by the fields of wheat, will be the perfect sceneries to pedal along the characteristic white roads among farmhouses and ancient Romanesque churches.

The route is almost entirely on white roads, in some sections still on the ancient paved tracks and only in a small part on asphalt. It presents some climbs with easy/medium gradients to be overcome with e-bikes.
